In complex dynamics, pinching an entire transcendental function is a way to define a path in the parameter space. The question is whether the path has a limit in the parameter space, that is convergent or not. It is known from [\textit{P. Domínguez} and \textit{G. Sienra}, Fundam. Math. 228, No. 1, 1--15 (2015; Zbl 1376.37094)] that for certain entire maps with a completely invariant Baker domain, pinching the function along some curves in this completely invariant Baker domain gives convergence to another transcendental entire function. This paper shows that if \(f\) is an entire transcendental map with a non-completely invariant Baker domain, there are pinchings of \(f\) which are divergent.
