In ibid. 32, No.5, 699-705 (1982; Zbl 0517.40001) we obtained necessary and sufficient conditions on a set of points of absolute and conditional convergence of a series of functions continuous on \({\mathbb{R}}\). We show that these same conditions apply even in the case of an arbitrary metric space X. As for the necessary conditions on these sets, their derivation proceeds word for word the same as in the case \(X={\mathbb{R}}\).
