The post-Newtonian equations of motion for binary systems with monopole, spin and quadrupole interaction, in a local as well as in a global coordinate system, are derived in an explicit and complete form by using Maple computer algebra system and a scheme to deduce equations of motion developed by \textit{T. Damour, M. Soffel} and \textit{C. Xu} [in: Relativistic celestial mechanics. Behara, Minaketan (ed.) et al., Proceedings of the 2nd Gauss symposium. Conference A: Mathematics and theoretical physics, Munich, Germany, August 2-7, 1993. Berlin: Walter de Gruyter. Symposia Gaussiana. 599-610 (1995; Zbl 0849.53051)]. The contribution of the new terms containing quadrupole-quadrupole moments might be significant in the description of the last stages of coalescence of neutron stars.
