The presence of periodic oscillations of the velocity of the external inviscid flow with large amplitude values leads to deterioration of the aerodynamical characteristics. Periodic suction through a porous surface, which reduces the intensity of the backflows, has a positive influence on these characteristics. The results of a detailed analysis of these phenomena are presented in this paper.
