The authors obtain the following main result, which is a supplement to Nunokawa' s lemma (in a certain sense) and give some interesting corollaries: Let \(p(z)=1+\sum_{n=k\geq 1}^{\infty}c_{n}z^{n}\) be analytic in the unit disk \(\mathbb{D}\) and let \(\alpha\) be a positive real number, \(0< \alpha \leq \frac{1}{2}\). Suppose that there exists a point \(z_{0}\), \(|z_0|< 1\), such that \[ \mathrm{Re}\, p(z)> \alpha\quad \text{for}\quad |z|<|z_{0}| \] and \[ \mathrm{Re}\, p(z_{0})=p(z_{0})=\alpha . \] Then we have \[ \frac{z_{0}p^{\prime}(z_{0})}{p(z_{0})} \leq -k(1-\alpha ). \]
