First order shear deformation theory is extended to include the effect of weak bonding between the layers. Linear interfacial constitutive relations between the transverse shear stresses and the corresponding displacement jumps are considered. For angle-ply laminated plates in cylindrical bending a closed form solution is obtained. The effect of interfacial shear slip is studied.
