The author generalizes the Browder-Gupta fixed point theorem from the case of single-valued proper mappings to the case of multivalued mappings with convex values. Then the fixed point properties of inverse systems of topological spaces and single valued or multivalued mappings are studied. The obtained results have natural applications to differential equations and inclusions which are signalized in the paper.
