The authors study the Lagrangian equations of motion for small solid particles suspended in two-dimensional turbulent boundary layer flows, by taking into account the effects of lift forces and additional drag forces caused by the wall presence. They obtain analytical expressions which relate the Lagrangian power spectrum of the particle velocity to that of the fluid, and study various statistical responses.
