Let \(P\) be a subset of a Banach space \(E\). The author defines when \(P\) is functionally \(h\)-paraconvex. He proves that the Michael's classical theorem on continuous selections holds for wide classes of lower semicontinuous maps of a paracompact space into the Banach space \(E\) whose values are \(h\)-paraconvex.
