It is well known that the most of regular satellites of the solar system present the same face to their planet like the Moon to the Earth. Long time ago Cassini showed, for the Moon, how this peculiar feature corresponds to an equilibrium, called Cassini's state. Later it was found that the equilibrium described by Cassini is not the only equilibrium state, but up to three other equilibria are possible. The goal of this paper is to provide a more complete analysis of Casssini's states for a broad range of parameters. Almost in each of the previous analysis some features have been discarded for the sake of simplicity. A special attention is drawn in the article to synchronous rotation of Galilean satellites.
