The author demonstrates how the fuzzy set theory can be applied to Bayesian estimation of lifetime data. In order to apply the Bayesian approach, the fuzzy parameters are considered as fuzzy random variables with fuzzy prior distributions. Then Bayesian estimation methods are used to create a fuzzy Bayesian point estimator by involving the well-known theorem called ``Resolution identity'' in fuzzy set theory. Properties of fuzzy Bayesian point estimators for failure rate, mean time to failure and reliability are discussed. The author provides computational procedures to evaluate the membership degree of any Bayes point estimate by transformation the original problem into a nonlinear programming problem. Details of computational procedures are discussed.
