A quantum deformation of the Virasoro algebra has been studied intensively in the past few years. The bosonization formula of the deformed Virasoro algebra was introduced in [\textit{J. Shiraishi, H. Kubo, H. Awata} and \textit{S. Odake}, Lett. Math. Phys. 38, 33-51 (1996; Zbl 0867.17010)]. In the paper under review, the authors investigate the vertex operators between modules over the deformed Virasoro algebra. They obtain the adjoint action of the deformed Virasoro current acting on certain vertex operators. They also study the connections between four-point functions of vertex operators with the Boltzmann weights of the fusion Andrews-Baxter-Forrester model.
