This paper deals with the interplay between topology and measure in dynamical systems that possess invariant sets that are riddled. With the help of a weak attractor, the authors present sufficient conditions guaranteeing that a basin of attraction is or is not globally riddled. The latter has important consequences for synchronisation problems.
