The pseudodifferential operator r(x,D) is defined by \(r(x,D)f(x)=\int e^{2x\xi}r(x,\xi)\hat f(\xi)d\xi\) for \(f\in {\mathcal S}\), where r(x,\(\xi)\) is a measurable function on \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\times {\mathbb{R}}^ n\), \({\mathcal S}\) is the Schwartz space on \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\) and \(\hat f=Ff\) is the Fourier transform. r(x,D) is said to belong to \(L^ m_{\rho,\delta} (- \infty<m<\infty\), 0\(\leq \rho,\delta \leq 1)\), if for each multi-index \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\), there is a constant \(C_{\alpha,\beta}\) so that \(| D^{\alpha}_{\xi}D_ x^{\beta}r(x,\xi)| \leq C_{\alpha,\beta}(1+| \xi |)^{m+\delta | \beta | -\rho | \alpha |}\) for every \(x,\xi \in {\mathbb{R}}^ n\). Clearly such an operator may be seen to be a continuous operator on \({\mathcal S}'\) by means of \(<r(x,D)f,\phi>=<\hat f,{\tilde \phi}>\) for \(f\in {\mathcal S}'\), \(\phi \in {\mathcal S}\) and \({\tilde \phi}(\xi)=\int e^{ix\xi}r(x,\xi)\phi(x)dx.\) The main result of this paper says that restricted to the Triebel space \(F^{\Delta}_{p,q}\) (resp. to the Besov space \(B^{\Delta}_{p,q})\), \(-\infty<s<\infty,\quad 0<p,q<\infty,\) every \(r(x,D)\in L^ m_{1,\delta} (0\leq \delta<1,\quad -\infty<m<\infty)\) becomes a continuous map \(F^{\Delta}_{p,q}\to F_{p,q}^{\Delta -m}\) (resp. \(B^{\Delta}_{p,q}\to B_{p,q}^{\Delta -m})).\) Thus several results of this kind hitherto obtained by many authors are generalized.
