Let \(X\) be an integral projective Gorenstein curve over an algebraically closed field. Weierstrass points are the points in the support of the divisor \(\text{div} (\omega_ X^{\otimes (s + N)})\) where \(s\) is the dimension of global sections of the sheaf \(\omega_ X\) and \(N = {s(s - 1) \over 2}\). In fact the Weierstrass weight of \(X\) can be defined as \(\text{div} (\omega_ X^{\otimes (s + N)})\). The authors study in a mixed language of local and global the difference between \(\text{div} (\omega_ X^{\otimes (s + N)})\) and Weierstrass weight of a partial normalisation \(Y\) of \(X\) in terms of semigroups of Gorenstein singularities, in case where \(X\) has only unibranch or two branches singularities. I think this paper would be clearer if it was written in a global language.
