A conservative numerical scheme for a class of nonlinear Schrödinger equation with wave operator. (Q1412475): Difference between revisions

An explicit finite difference scheme for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a wave operator is presented. Second order convergence in time and space and stability of the scheme is proved. Furthermore is is shown that the scheme which uses four levels satisfies a discrete conservation law.
