Let \(X\in\mathbb{P}^ n\) be a variety defined over a field of characteristic \(p\) and let \(X'\) be its dual variety. When \(p=0\), the conormal cones \(C(X)\), \(C(X')\) coincide, after identifying \(\mathbb{P}^ n\) with its double dual; this is no longer true as soon as \(p\) is positive; varieties for which the equality fails are called `non-reflexive'. The paper is concerned with the classification of non-reflexive curves of low degree; if \(X\) is a non-reflexive curve, then the projection \(C(X)\to X'\) has inseparable degree \(q>0\) and the degree of \(X\) must be greater or equal than \(q\). All non-reflexive curves of degree \(q\) are well known. -- - The authors study non-reflexive curves of degree \(q+1\) in \(\mathbb{P}^ n\). They show that such curves lie on linear spaces of dimension 2 or 3 and give equations for a projective model of each of them. For higher values of \(\deg(X)\), the authors provide a description of plane non-reflexive curves with `mild' singularities.
