Verf. beweist den folgenden, schon von \textit{A. Wiman} (1907; F. d. M . 38, 119) bewiesenen Satz: Jede im Körper der rationalen Zahlen irreduzible Gleichung vierten Grades mit rationalen Koeffizienten, deren Galois'sche Gruppe entweder von der Ordnung 8 oder eine zyklische Gruppe der Ordnung 4 oder die Vierergruppe ist, kann durch eine rationale Tschirnhausentransformationen in die Gestalt \[ y^4+py^2+q=0 \] (\(p,q\) rational) gebracht werden.
