This is a generalization of the approach presented in the previous paper by the authors [ibid. 10, 229-244 (1984; Zbl 0551.65097)]. The authors study a class of definite integrals of the form \(I(f,D):=\int^{b}_{a}f(t)D(t)dt\) where D and a derivative of f are one-signed on [a,b]. Examining the Cauchy form of the remainder in the Taylor expansion of f they find upper and lower bounds for I(f,D).
