The author gives a upper bound and a lower bound for the invariant \(\delta(f)\) where \(f\) is an analytic function with an isolated critical point at the origin and \(\delta(f)\) is the maximal possible number of the Morse points with the same critical value, into which the singularity of \(f\) can be decomposed.
