In 1967 \textit{Yu. A. Drozd, V. V. Kirichenko} and \textit{A. V. Rojter} [Izv. Akad. Nauk SSSR, Ser. Mat. 31, 1415-1436 (1967; Zbl 0204.053)] gave a classification of Bass-orders. These are \(R\)-orders \(\Lambda\) in a separable algebra, such that every overorder is Gorenstein. Here \(R\) is a complete discrete valuation ring. The crucial lemma to achieve this goal is the description of the local Bass orders in \((D)_ 2\), where \(D\) is a separable skewfield. The author constructs new families -- in fact infinite chains -- of Bass orders in \((D)_ 2\), which are not covered by the result of Drozd, Kirichenko and Rojter.
