The author studies the structure of partial indices of the n-dimensional problem on the plane, with the matrices corresponding to the boundary conditions forming a group of permutation type. In this case it is proved that the partial indices depend only on the structure of the group. If the non-zero coefficients of the matrices of the initial problem are replaced by functions, defined on the corresponding arcs of the boundary curve, then it is naturally to suppose that the partial indices of the new Riemann problem will also depend on the structure of these functions. This is acutally proved for \(n=2\). In that case the author gives explicit formulae (Theorem 2) for the two indices.
