The author focusses her attention on a parabolic scalar conservation law posed in \(\mathbb R^n\), with periodic flux, and studies its large time behavior. She shows, under appropriate restrictions on the structure of the flux and on the initial data, that the difference between the solution and the corresponding stationary solution behaves in the \(L^1\)-norm as a self-similar profile for large time.
