Integral canonical models of Shimura varieties of preabelian type (Q1595341): Difference between revisions

Let \(\text{Sh} (G,X)\) be the canonical model of the Shimura variety associated to the pair \((G,X)\) over the reflex field \(E(G,X)\). Given a rational prime \(p\) such that \(G\) is unramified over \(\mathbb Q_p\), let \(\mathbb A_f^p\) be the ring of finite adeles with the \(p\)-component omitted. Let \(v\) be a prime of \(E(G,X)\) dividing \(p\), and let \(O_{(v)}\) be the localization of the ring of integers of \(E(G,X)\) with respect to \(v\). If \(H\) is a hyperspecial subgroup of \(G (\mathbb Q_p)\), a smooth integral model of \(\text{Sh} (G,X)/H\) over \(O_{(v)}\) is a faithfully flat \(O_{(v)}\)-scheme together with a continuous right action of \(G(\mathbb A_f^p)\) satisfying certain conditions. In this paper the author proves the existence of integral models of Shimura varieties of preabelian type with respect to primes of characteristic at least five.
