The peristaltic flow of spermatic fluid along the VAR deferents is modelled as the axisymmetric flow of a Newtonian viscous incompressible fluid along a tapered flexible tube. There is a small perturbation \(\varepsilon\) to the tube radius which varies with time and distance along the tube. The basic differential equations are established, and an expansion is obtained in powers of \(\varepsilon\). The two special cases of small Reynolds number and long waves are considered by making further expansions. Numerical results are presented in graphical forms. The flux-rate appears to vary linearly with the pressure rise but this is not discussed.
