The authors investigate the global attractivity of the recursive sequences \(x_{n+1}=\frac{-\alpha x_{n-1}}{\beta\pm x_n}\) under specific conditions. They show that the zero equilibrium points of these equations are global attractors with basin that depends on certain conditions posed on the coefficients. Sufficient conditions are developed to guarantee that all the bounded solutions of the equation are oscillatory.
