Denote by \(B^n_p\) the unit ball of the space \(\ell^n_p\) and by \(r(n,p)\) the number such that the volume of \(r(n,p)B^n_p\) is 1. For arbitrary positive reals \(p\) and \(q\) the author shows a number \(A(p,q)\) such that the volume of the set \(r(n,p) B_p^n\cap {r(n,q) \over A(p,q)}B_q^n\) tends to \({1\over 2}\) as \(n\) tends to infinity.
