The Borel-Weil-Bott theorem computes the cohomology groups of an irreducible homogeneous bundle on a rational homogeneous variety. In this article are computed the cohomology groups of any homogeneous bundle, including the reducible ones, on a symmetric hermitian variety \(X = G/P\) of ADE-type. This class of varieties includes Grassmannians, quadrics of even-dimension, Lagrangian Grassmannians, spinor varieties, the Cayley plane and an \(E_7\)-variety of dimension 27, as well their products. The basic tool is an equivalence, introduced by Bondal, Kapranov and Hille, between homogeneous bundles on \(X\) and representations of certain quivers \(L_X\) with relations. These relations are explicitly computed for the projective spaces \(X = \mathbb P^n\) (extending a result of Hille for \(X = \mathbb P^2\)) and for Grassmannians \(\text{Gr}(k,n)\). In addition, the authors consider certain questions regarding moduli of homogeneous bundles on irreducible hermitian symmetric varieties.
