Es wird gezeigt, daß die verallgemeinerte Fermatgleichung \(x^ c + y^ c = az^ d\) auf einer \(n\)-blättrigen Überlagerung eines \(\mathbb{C}^ q\) im Fall \(d \geq (n + 1)^ 2\) unlösbar ist, falls die Nullstellenmenge Var \(a\) höchstens \(c-1-2n\) viele irreduzible Komponenten hat. Falls diese Komponentenanzahl größer wird, werden Abschätzungen über die Lösungsanzahl gegeben. Zum Beweis werden Picardartige Sätze gebraucht. Es wird z.B. gezeigt, daß auf einer \(n\)-blättrigen Überlagerung eines \(\mathbb{C}^ q\) jede holomorphe Funktion \(f\) höchstens \(2n-1\) viele verschiedene Werte nur mit einer durch \(d\) teilbaren Ordnung annimmt.
