    Der Verf. betrachtet die Fortsetzung einer Funktion \(f(x)\), \(x\in {\mathbb{R}}^ n\), außerhalb ihres Definitionsgebietes \(\Omega \subset R^ n\), das eine Begrenzung Lipschitzschen Typs hat. Er beweist, daß man eine Funktion E(x,f), die in \(R^ n\) definiert ist und dort verallgemeinerte Ableitungen im Sinne von Sobolev bis zur Ordnung r hat, so finden kann, daß \(E(x,f)\equiv f(x)\), \(x\in \Omega,\) und eine Ungleichung zwischen Funktionen vom Typ \(k\)-schen Stetigkeitsmoduls der Funktionen \(f(x)\) und \(E(x,f)\) besteht. Die Funktion E(x,f) wird durch eine Fundamentalfolge \(E_ n(x,f)\in C^ m(R^ n)\) im Raume \(W_ p^{(r)}(R^ n)\) konstruiert, \(m\geq r+k>0.\)
