This paper deals with Hopfield-type neural networks. Sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium points of such networks are derived. For this reason, Lyapunov functions are constructed by using M-matrices and without assuming boundedness, monotonicity and differentiability of the activation functions.
