The paper deals with the almost disturbance decoupling problem for linear systems \(\dot x = Ax + B \sigma (u + d)\), where \(x \in \mathbb{R}^n\), \(e,d \in \mathbb{R}^m\), \(\sigma\) a saturation function and \(d\) an additive disturbance. In the almost disturbance decoupling problem a linear state feedback \(u = Fx\) is sought which assues that the \(L_p\) gain from \(d\) to \(x\) is arbitrarily small. In addition to almost disturbance decoupling, conditions on the overal stability of the closed-loop system are imposed. These stability conditions may involve local asymptotic stability, semiglobal asymptotic stability or global asymptotic stability of the resulting closed-loop system, each requiring slightly stronger requirements on the location of the poles of the open-loop system.
