Fixed points for multivalued mappings defined on unbounded sets in Banach spaces (Q1177016): Difference between revisions

This article deals with some fixed point theorems for multivalued nonexpansive and pseudocontractive mappings defined on closed convex and unbounded subsets of Hilbert or Banach spaces. The main results are connected with some simple additional properties of mappings which garantee the existence of fixed points although the invariant subset is unbounded.
