Generalized state space systems are characterized by impulsive behaviors due to the presence of poles at infinity. Many design techniques based on feedbacks have been introduced to eliminate these unsuitable behaviors. This paper illustrate a class of proper precompensators for implementing proportional, proportional plus derivative and output feedbacks for generalized systems. These regulators are based on the Silverman structure algorithm and remove the possible impulsive behaviors due to initial conditions by smoothing out the input vector.
