In this article the authors show that a semitopological group \(G\) (multiplication is separately continuous) is a topological group if \(G\) is a strongly Baire space, a condition defined in terms of topological game theory. This generalizes the result of \textit{A. Bouziad} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 124, 953-959 (1996; Zbl 0857.22001)] that a Čech-complete semitopological group is a topological group, which in turn generalized earlier versions of this theorem for complete metric spaces and locally compact spaces.
