It is shown that within the imperative logic of \textit{K. Segerberg} [Notre Dame J. Formal Logic 31, 203-221 (1990; Zbl 0712.03002)], a certain rule is sound. In proving this, a result in the underlying logic of action is established, namely that Segerberg's restriction of the set of propositions in a frame is unnecessary.
