This paper studies optimal control strategy of an online game addiction model with incomplete recovery. A model of online game addiction with incompletely recovered quitters is developed. The incompletely recovered quitters have a certain possibility of relapse. The total population contains susceptible individuals, exposed individuals, infected individuals, professional individuals, incompletely recovered quitters and completely recovered quitters. Positivity and boundedness of solutions are derived. The basic reproduction number and all equilibria of the model are solved in the paper. The stability analysis has been performed. Some numerical simulations are given to illustrate the optimal control problem of the model.
