The authors study elliptic operators \({\mathcal L}\) in divergence form on certain domains in \(\mathbb{R}^d\) with fractal volume growth. They prove a Harnack inequality for non-negative \({\mathcal L}\)-harmonic functions on these domains and establish upper and lower bounds for the corresponding heat equation. The paper is an essential contribution to the subject.
