In comparison with Riemannian geometry in (Pseudo-)Finsler geometry curvature tensors and covariant derivatives have in addition a dependence on a direction. Therefore connections are in general non-linear. \textit{M. Á. Javaloyes} [Mediterr. J. Math. 17, No. 4, Paper No. 123, 21 p. (2020; Zbl 1451.53035)] introduced the concept of an \textit{anisotropic connection.} This concept is revisited in this paper and the covariant derivative of an anisotropic tensor is discussed in detail. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1497.53003].
