This paper deals with 3D Navier-Stokes equations and their regularity in the setting of Besov spaces. In particular, the main result shows that a solution local in time up to time T can be extended beyond T, provided that it lies in suitable Besov spaces, when considering the critical case Besov regularity \(-1\). It relies on the interior regularity criterion. The theorem extends previous results in [\textit{W. Wang} and \textit{Z. Zhang}, Sci. China, Math. 60, No. 4, 637--650 (2017; Zbl 1387.35471)], where the interior regularity criterion is introduced, and [\textit{Z. Li} and \textit{D. Zhou}, Dyn. Partial Differ. Equ. 18, No. 1, 71--80 (2021; Zbl 1460.35260)]. This paper is better read together with previous results in the area, to facilitate the understanding of the quite technical notation and results.
