    In this work the authors show that the solutions of the equation \[ y''+(1+q(x))y=0,\quad x_0<x<\infty, \] have the asymptotic relations \[ y(x)=e^{\pm ix}(1+0(1)),\quad x\to\infty, \] under the assumption that \(q\) is rapidly oscillating: \(q(x)\in W^0\), \(W^0=\{\sigma(x):\sigma(x)=\sum_{k=1}^ng_{k}(x)e^{ip_{k}(x)}\}\), where \(g_{k}(x)=\sum_{j=0}^{m_{k}}g_{k,j}x^{\alpha_{k,j}}\), \(p_{k}(x)=\sum_{j=0}^{n_{k}}p_{k,j}x^{\beta_{k,j}}\), \(0>\alpha_{k,0}>\dots>\alpha_{k,m_{k}-1}\geq -1\), \(\beta_{k,0}>\beta_{k,1}>\dots>\beta_{k,m_{k}-1}>\beta_{k,n_{k}}\), \(1<\beta_{k,0}\), provided that \[ \sum_{k=1}^nc_{k}p_{k,0}\neq0, \] where \(c_{j}\in\mathbb{N}\cup\{0\}\).
