    This paper is devoted to the one-parameter family of solutions in the form of a continuous distribution of point sources (Dirac singularities or their spatial derivatives) for the backward heat equation. These solutions arise from the continuous inverse wavelet transform. The author provides simple examples which illustrate the method.
