The projective flatness of a given Finsler geometry is studied in this paper through a second-order PDE system. At the infinitesimal level, a Killing-type vector field is used in order to preserve the character of geodesic for curves in Finsler manifolds. Another characterization of projective flatness is presented in a parameter-preserving mode, which for the \(\mathbb{R}^n\) case yields a Minkowski geometry.
