The author studies self-injectivity of algebras constructed from Postnikov diagrams. A \((k, n)\)-Postnikov diagram \(D\) is a collection of oriented curves in a disk satisfying certain axioms which were defined by \textit{A. Postnikov} [``Total positivity, Grassmannians, and networks'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:0609764}]. For a Postnikov diagram \(D\), \textit{K. Baur} et al. [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. (3) 113, No. 2, 213--260 (2016; Zbl 1386.13060)] constructed a planer ice quiver with potential \(Q_D=(Q, W, F)\), which is a dimer model, and studied frozen Jacobian (or dimer) algebra \(A = A(D)\). The quotient of \(A\) by the idempotent corresponding to the frozen vertices gives a finite dimensional Jacobian algebra \(\Lambda(D)\) of a quiver with potential \(\underline{Q}_D=(\underline{Q}, \underline{W})\). In the paper under review, the author shows that \(\Lambda(D)\) is self-injective if and only if \(D\) is symmetric under rotation by \(2k\pi/n\). By using this result, the author constructs some new examples of self-injective Jacobian algebras and answer Question 10.1(1) of [\textit{M. Herschend} and \textit{O. Iyama}, Compos. Math. 147, No. 6, 1885--1920 (2011; Zbl 1260.16016)] in the negative. When a \((k, n)\)-Postnikov diagram \(D\) is symmetric under rotation by \(2k\pi/n\), by Theorem 3.11 of [loc. cit.], the truncated Jacobian algebra of the quiver with potential \(\underline{Q}_D\) is \(2\)-representation finite. Finally, the author studies cuts and mutations of \(\underline{Q}_D\) and construct some new \(2\)-representation finite algebras.
