A metric measure space is \(\mathsf{CD}(K,N)\) if (in a synthetic sense) it has Ricci curvature bounded below by \(K\) and dimension bounded above by \(N\). By definition, this is a global condition that has a local counterpart known as the \(\mathsf{CD}_{\mathrm{loc}}(K,N)\) condition. We say that the local-to global property holds if a metric measure space satisfying \(\mathsf{CD}_{\mathrm{loc}}(K,N)\) is also a \(\mathsf{CD}(K,N)\) space. Thanks to [\textit{F. Cavalletti} and \textit{E. Milman}, Invent. Math. 226, No. 1, 1--137 (2021; Zbl 1479.53049)], it is known that every essentially non-branching metric-measure space of \textit{finite} measure enjoys the local-to global property. In the present article the author shows that the technical assumption about the finiteness of the measure can be removed, so that every essentially non-branching metric measure space endowed with a locally finite measure (i.e., a measure finite on bounded sets) satisfies the local-to-global property.
