Let \(X\) and \(Y\) be Banach spaces. The author shows that, if \(Y\) has the Gelfand-Phillips property and \(M\) is a closed subspace of the space \(K_{w^*}(X^*, Y)\) of all \(w^*\)-\(w\)-compact operators from \(X^*\) into \(Y\) such that the evaluation operator \(\psi_{y^*}: M \to X\) is limited \(p\)-convergent for each \(y^*\in Y^*\), then \(M\) has the \(p\)-Gelfand-Phillips property; see [\textit{J. H. Fourie} and \textit{E. D. Zeekoei}, ``On weak-star \(p\)-convergent operators'', Quaest. Math. 40, No. 5, 563--579 (2017; \url{doi:10.2989/16073606.2017.1301591})]. She proves that, if \(X^*\) has the \(p\)-Gelfand-Phillips property and \(Y\) has the Schur property, and \(M\) is a closed subspace of \(L(X,Y)\), then \(M\) has the \(p\)-Gelfand-Phillips property (\(1 \leq p < \infty\)). She establishes that, if the space \(L_{w^*}(X^*, Y)\) of all \(w^*\)-\(w\)-continuous operators has the \(p\)-Gelfand-Phillips property, then at least one of the spaces \(X\) and \(Y\) does not contain \(\ell_2\). In addition, she investigates weakly-\(p\)-Dunford-Pettis sets and weakly-\(p\)-\(L\)-sets (\(1 \leq p < \infty\)) and shows that every operator with \(p\)-convergent adjoint is weakly precompact and that weakly-\(p\)-Dunford-Pettis sets are weakly precompact (for \(2 < p < \infty\)). Further, she discusses Banach spaces \(X\) with the property that every \(p\)-convergent operator \(T : X\to Y\) is weakly compact, for every Banach space \(Y\).
