This paper is a nice paper dealing with graph theory and Ramsey theory. In this paper, the author deals with obtaining the sufficient conditions for the existence of long cycles in locally expanding graphs. Some applications of the obtained conditions and techniques used here for Ramsey theory, random graphs and positional games. \par The paper starts with recalling the fundamental notions and results necessary in the following sections. In Section 3, the proofs of the main theorems are given. Some results on random graphs are given in Section 4. In Section 5, some bounds on multi-color size Ramsey number of paths are obtained. In Section 6, results on positional games are given.
