The relationship of the Gaudin model and the Bethe algebras of the \(N\)-fold tensor power of the vector representation \(\mathfrak{gl}_N\)-modules developed in [\textit{E. Mukhin} et al., St. Petersbg. Math. J. 22, No. 3, 463--472 (2011); translation from Algebra Anal. 2010, No. 3, 177--190 (2010; Zbl 1219.82121)] is revisited, and basing on a generalization of the isomorphism between the Bethe algebra and functions on Schubert intersections, the spectrum monodromy of the Bethe algebras is computed. It is further shown that the monodromy is determined by the action of the cactus group \(J_n\) on tensor products of irreducible \(\mathfrak{gl}_N\)-crystals.
