It is well-known that there exists a Hopf duality between \(U_q(sl_n)\) and \(O_q[SL(n)]\). Therefore the standard \(n\)-dimensional \(O_q[SL(n)]\)-comodule induces a left module algebra action of \(U_q(sl_n)\) on the \(n\)-dimensional quantum plane, \(k\langle x_1,\dots,x_n\rangle/ (x_jx_i - qx_ix_j: i<j)\) . In this article the author describes explicitly \(U_q(sl_n)\) acting as \(q\)-differential operators on this quantum plane. To do so several calculations on \(q\)-differential operators are presented and then used to give the \(U_q(sl_n)\)-action. Along the way, the author introduces several related ``quantum'' algebras.
