The main purpose of this paper is to determine the principal part of an unadjusted zeta function. This zeta function is one of the global zeta functions, and it is related to a prehomogeneous vector space. This prehomogeneous vector space is related to the problem of the density theorem for the mean value of the product of class numbers of paired quadratic fields (the author and others essentially contributed to this problem), and hence the main result of this paper substantially contributes to this problem.
